Designations:
Dr. Der-How Huang earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Southern California in 2011, and earned his Orthopedic Certified Specialist in 2014. he has worked with multiple surgeons to provide the best care in pre-op and post operative rehabilitation. He has also worked with athletes of all calibers and ages from the Novice to the Olympic level. He has a passion in improving movements through a biomechanical approach. He is also BFR and IASTM certified.
Dr. Der-How was born in Taiwan and raised in Minnesota, he is fluent in Mandarin and English. He grew up competing in Track and Field, intramural Basketball/Football, and now volunteers his time with speed coaches to improve athletes movements. Dr. Der-How has a passion for teaching, and has been a clinical instructor for numerous physical therapy students over the years. He is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and a board member of the South Bay/Long Beach District for California Physical Therapy Association. His interests out side of physical therapy includes being outdoors, traveling, photography, music, home improvements (DIY) and sports.
